Tourism Council WA runs a series of Information Seminars around the state to help entrants understand the rules and provide ideas on how to put your submission together.

These seminars are highly recommended. If you wish to know the location of these seminars contact Tourism Council WA on 9416 0700 or via email.

We are always happy to meet requests for seminars so if you would like us to come to you, just ask!

Late Submissions

A late fee of $50 must accompany any submission that misses the deadline date.

The absolute final date for submissions is Friday, 22nd August 2008.  No submissions will be accepted after this date.

Accommodation 
Accommodation packages with Burswood Intercontinental Hotel and Holliday Inn Burswood will be available for the Gala Dinner. These will be advertised closer to the event.

Nomination Form

Please complete and return the Nomination Form by Friday, 27th June 2008.  Your payment should accompany this.

Please copy this form for your records as this becomes a tax invoice on receipt of payment.

Nomination fees:    

• $99 for Tourism Council WA Members & Accredited Businesses
• Free entry to the Sir David Brand Award for Tourism, the Sir David Brand Medal, the Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal and the FACET Golden Guide Award. 
   
  The nomination fee is non-refundable should you decide to withdraw from the Awards.

All applicants must be members of the Tourism Council WA and be in the process of obtaining their National Tourism Accreditation*. The Accreditation process must be completed by November 2008.

Cheques should be made payable to Tourism Council WA and forwarded to the Awards Coordinator.

Judging

Judge’s visits will take place during August. Entrants will be notified when a judge will be visiting their business. 

Auditors

Sygnum (Assurance Services) are the Official 2008 Western Australian Tourism Awards Auditors and will be present during the judging.
